Product details
This Ayurvedic tea is blended with Guduchi (Giloy), Tulsi (Holy Basil) and Ginger. Guduchi is a popular Ayurvedic herb that supports immune function. It is also called Giloy in India in Sanskrit. It is a bitter tasting herb and it gets this taste from diverse phytochemicals present in it. Boil 8 ounces of water and add 1 teaspoon of tea, simmer for 5 minutes on low heat, strain before serving. Suggestions: Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and/or 1/8 teaspoon black pepper while brewing. Strain and cool, then add honey (or other sweetener) and/or 1/4 teaspoon Amla powder. If you are not used to drinking bitter tasting tea, you may dilute it by adding more water or a beverage of your choice. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.
